The Most Wonderful Experience!!!

LUISA & ME!!! :)
THE THREE MOST PRETTIEST BAVARIAN GIRLS! :)

MY AMAZING HOST FAMILY! :)

My experience in Augsburg is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life because its not everyday that you travel with friends to Germany, see the beautiful place, go sight-seeing shopping and all that. But the best part was staying with a German family! Now that's interesting! Living at the Klose resident for two weeks was the best thing ever! It was pure FUN! My exchange partner Luisa Klose was the sweetest girl! She took care of me so well!that I never felt home sick or had the urge to go home! It was an absolute delight living with Luisa and her family! They even bought me a dirndl ( the traditional German dress) They were very hospitable and caring. They made sure I felt always at home and I did :) I was much interested to learn about the Bavarian culture, it was mind -boggling! We always read about things on the internet or books or maybe see things on the television, but its nothing like standing there in that place and experiencing it one to one. Now that's an opportunity!I came to know about a lot of things, met new people, learned so much there is to know in Bavaria. Seeing places like a tourist is different, but  learning to live like a German is so much more different than how a tourist does and is more enjoyable!!We also got learn about their lifestyle and day to day activities being carried out in a typical German home. The  things I enjoyed the most were the FOOD, CASTLES &CHURCHES! Now these were beautiful!!! The food was amazing!!! I had no problem adjusting to the food.It was delicious. Me being an Indian, only use to spicy food would have found it hard to adjust, but I defied the odds I simply loved it! The castles and churches were so gorgeous, that I  could stare at them whole day without moving and just admiring every little detail gone into making that magnificent structure! It was so serene, calm and quiet! So different from the bustling urban life in Chennai! The only thing which I found difficult to adjust with was the quietness!Everything was so quiet! The neighborhood were I lived, inside the bus or train or anything! At home when I was  munching on  some chips, according to me,it was the most deafening sound because the surroundings were pin drop silenced.Other than that it was outstanding and magnificent! I am truly thankful to go on an exchange program like this and is truly the experience I will never forget!

                                                         THE BESTTHINGS INGERMANY!!!
